[Doctorate of Nursing Practice - Arizona State University]

[Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified]

I believe that I have been training for my role as a mental health provider for most of my life. I have always had a keen interest in the acquisition of knowledge as it relates to spirituality, coping skills, and the understanding of life. My general practice goal is to give recommendations as if you are one of my family members and improve your quality of life.

I went to nursing school at Scottsdale Community College and received my Associates in Nursing in 2013. I loved my community college years and still reflect fondly on them today. My first job was in a Geriatric psychiatry unit at St. Lukes hospital in Phoenix. I worked full time while completing my Bachelors in Nursing at Arizona State University. I spent two years working on the Progressive Care Unit [Telemetry] at Banner University and was grateful for all the experience I gained there. I found that I had a deeper passion towards mental health and began teaching clinicals for nursing students at Scottsdale Community College, Paradise Valley Community College, and Creighton University. Throughout these years I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Arizona State University and graduated in May of 2020.
